Getting Back to Summer Safely: New Camp Resources for Concussion Care

Updated: Jun 23

With summer kicking off, our team partnered with 360 Concussion Care to create camp-specific concussion resources that can be used in all camp contexts, from day camps to overnight camps.

These new resources, which are based on the Living Guideline for Pediatric Concussion, provide clear guidelines to help camp staff recognize and manage concussions in themselves and their campers. In particular, they outline key steps for campers and camp staff to take to ensure a safe return to camp activities.

These materials can be printed or shared over email with camp staff:

Our goal is to help kids stay safe and to ensure camp staff feel confident and supported when it comes to concussion care.

These resources are available on our community handouts page and will be shared in other venues to help support campers and camp staff this summer! Please feel free to reach out to our team with any questions or feedback.
