Teaching Teachers: Takeaways from the 2025 PHE National Conference in Niagara Falls

We started May off strong with a visit to Niagara Falls for the 2025 Physical and Health Education (PHE) National Conference. The goal of this conference was to bring together health education teachers, physical activity leaders, and health experts to find ways to support youth health.

Our team set up a booth at the conference to share information about our research program and to highlight key resources for teachers, coaches and health educators. These resources included the newly updated teacher handout from the Living Guidelines for Pediatric Concussion and interactive resources for the Youth Concussion Awareness Network (You-CAN) Program.

It was so lovely to be out in the community talking to so many wonderful people who are key to supporting a safe concussion recovery for children and youth. We look forward to continuing all of these fantastic discussions in the future!
