A Successful Booth at the Wheelchair Rugby National Championships

Our team recently had the opportunity to attend the Wheelchair Rugby National Championships in Ottawa. This amazing event brought together wheelchair rugby athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters from across the country.

We were excited to connect with many individuals at the event through our TRANSCENDENT booth, which shared educational handouts from our research program and program partners, answered community questions, and highlighted the importance of concussion awareness for all individuals involved in wheelchair rugby. One of the highlights of the booth was our Concussion Tic Tac Toe game, which encouraged participants to test their concussion knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

Going to community outreach events like this are an important (and fun) part of what our team does to help bring concussion resources to those who need them. We are grateful to Wheelchair Rugby Canada and all attendees for helping make this event such a success!
